HEALING FUELS THE FUTURE
I think the time has begun for Americans to begin the quest for alternative fuels . . . and as a united people, we’ll move into the future with more efficient and better ways of processing our natural resources. We can see the writing on the wall. We’re not stupid! Again, it’ll be the majority of middle-class who’ll begin the changes for the better. When our great country is no longer in charge of it’s economy, but is being held hostage by other nations with free flowing minerals and oil, it’s time to pull back to ourselves and remember what made us so great in the first place.
Wasn’t our greatness in not relying on anyone else to support us? Inventing and building a nation of freedom and democracy for all of us. Didn’t we lay down our lives against being held hostage by the religions and governments of other countries? Didn’t we create a United States of America where we put our people “Under God, Indivisible, and with Liberty and Justice for All?” I think so! Then, alas, we became dependent on the natural resources of a few other countries, hellbent on bringing us to our knees as far as dependence is concerned. Countries that not only resent our way of life, but hate our religious freedoms and convictions.
The United States is the only country in the world that houses all . . . or mostly all . . . the world’s cultures and religious faiths beneath its umbrella of freedom and democracy. For being as diverse and as open-minded as we are in our country, we get along in relative peace. I say relative peace and harmony, as we are still evolving as humans, and pride and prejudice still exists. But we aren’t practicing genocide on one another, and we have tried to right the wrongs of the past (when we fully understand a better path.) At least we have the right . . . to right the wrongs . . . that we see occurring in our country. We have the freedom of speech and religious conviction. Imagine living in a country where you’re killed for speaking out about events you deem unconstitutional or wrong.
Brazil is a country that has set an example as far as fuel efficiency and dependency is concerned. Yes, it’ll take ten years for our nation to downsize our dependency on other nations as far as fuel is concerned. We must leave our children a better world than what we inherited from our forefathers. We must find a balance. So far, we’re leaving our offspring a mess of debt and oil dependency. Pride builds nations. Ego destroys it! We need to take our pride back, and I believe we’re more than ready to do it. I for one, am tired of other countries running us down and laughing at our political process. We need to be the forerunner of change and invention again, leaders and inventors of the free world. We need to take back our national pride by earning it the hard way. Pride and Sacrifice!
