Political Nightmare Who Is Who? What Is What? Installment #1
As usual, my bottom line observations aren’t all that important to anyone but my friends and family, but here’s what I think about a small minority of the people who are racing full steam ahead toward the ultimate goal of becoming the next President of the United States. I’ll begin with Barack Obama, who I personally like and trust on both a spiritual and emotional level. Unfortunately, he’s the lone presidential candidate who’s about six years ahead of his time as far as his vast potential for leadership of the United States is concerned. I feel this present run is going to be very good for his future, and his future in politics is going to shine brighter and brighter as his political time line gains strength. I predict that he will be President of the United States one day.
Next in line is my favorite person, and lone dark horse, Al Gore. Al Gore is a man with a mission, and his mind isn’t focused on running for President of the United States. There’s a small chance that he could be persuaded to run, but it’s very unlikely he’ll heed the advice of his friends, family and his political and fan base. Only a political trauma or dramatic happening within the present democratic candidates would change his mind. He’s sincere in his comfort zone about being a spokesperson and leader addressing the urgency of the present environmental dangers of our planet. He’s also right-on about forthrightly stating that the dangers from environmental disasters are more important than running for the President of the United States. What do we do as a people without a safe planet to live on? Do we need strong leaders of political parties in power, with their energies divided into many fractions, or do we need strong men and women with a higher, more focused purpose? You choose.
I personally feel more comfortable with Al Gore focusing on what he does best- informing and teaching the world at large about the planet’s current environmental distress. His influence and forthright talks are beginning to make a difference with the large polluting business factions. They’re being forced to make better business/political survival choices for the future about the need for environmental restraints. They’re beginning to recognize the untold damages they’re causing to the air, water and plant life they so-publicly say they relish, yet in reality, do nothing to undermine that bottom financial line they love even more. There is a huge potential crisis looming on our planet, and if we don’t gain control of our environmental mess, and work toward eradicating the global toxicities and waste from the air, land and seas, it will leave many of our planet’s humanity without a safe harbor for delivery of life-sustaining goods and services, clean land, jobs, and homes in the future. I cannot stress how important is for us all to be aware of this noble fight to preserve our planet and take a stand against the up and coming pollutions and erosions of the life forces on this planet. It will happen if we do not take a stand.
Next on my list of candidates to discuss with you is Hillary Clinton. She is my favorite candidate to win the next presidency, and it’s not for anything politically she stands for, although, I do like her strength and potential promise as a leader of the free world. Someone asked me what it is I see in her, and I replied that she’s the only candidate that can secure us a complete “pass” out of the war with Iraq and keep us on safe ground for the next 8 years. Why? Because she’s a nurturing female with motherly feelings. She won’t go to war without a plan and she won’t send anyone to war until all steps have been taken to prevent war. She’s a peacemaker, not a war mongrel. She will also be allowed (with a shrug) to withdraw from the war with dignity and find peace from the present situation in the Middle East. Why? Partly because she is the woman/caring factor and the old men’s club will look upon her as a female, no matter what she does. Men will allow her to be nurturing and not fight her plans for withdrawal. Simply put, she is a Mommy. And, mothers do not like their children put into harms way. They love peace and peaceful settings. They like budgets to be balanced, and diplomatic solutions to problems. They aren’t overly sentimental about issues that deal with hurt feelings, shrugging them off as a part of life. Most women view men as little boys in big boy’s bodies who love to fight . . . a fight. Any fight!
Her husband is a great asset, and is a seasoned diplomat. His contributions as the former president are immeasurable and his strength and awareness unsurpassed in this century. Chelsea Clinton will be a great asset to her mother on the home front, balancing out the triangle of strength of her parents. The three Clinton’s are a wonderful political-allied team. The world will be a better place with the three of them in place within the Presidential-political arena. Bill Clinton will enhance his wife’s presidency with a strong international diplomatic eye, and together they will close the ranks of discontent, disharmony, and distrust that currently exist around the world for the United States of America.
