ILLEGAL/LEGAL IMMIGRATION – YES/NO
Monday, May 1st, 2006Parts of my family came from Ireland to America during the great potato famine. They worked hard on the railroads and farms in America and established themselves professionally and skillfully in other labor pools, eventually becoming valued citizens of the United States. I’m sure they would have stayed in the beautiful country of Ireland had there been alternatives for providing for their families. It was starvation for their families, or find work someplace else. Is it so different today with the Mexican citizens, than it was with our own forefathers? ……..(Continued)
