ARMAGEDDON vs. COMMUNICATION
OK . . . so the world’s going through a shake-up right now. Instant news is instant views of the tragic wars and climate changes occurring . . . worldwide. The media seems to be everywhere at once, and all competing for the next of the latest and greatest shots of destruction and man’s lesser . . . humanity against man. There’s no way to tune out of what’s occurring on the international fronts, except to go someplace without electricity, television and don’t forget phones. All kinds of technological gadgets and all types of phones, all communicating with one another . . . from sea to shining sea and country to country. There are tiny little hidden phones . . . with cameras built into them, phones with text messaging capabilities, phones with Internet accessibility and billions of blogging sites with billions of bloggers, logging onto the net . . . at all times, twenty-four seven . . . communicating! Now tell me this folks. Are we into talking and sharing with one another as a human species or not?
This morning I saw where some of the Christian sites and their leaders are touting (with much excitement) Armageddon . . . (the supposed end of times, as foretold in the Bible.) It’s my humble opinion that the human species is going to be on this earth for a long, long time. Why hurry along the process and believe we’re all going to die or be taken up to another world of like-minded biblical followers? The superconsciouness doesn’t need those kinds of negative thoughts pouring through the vast cosmos of time and space. Not now! Not ever! I feel we may end up exploding a weapon (weapons) of mass destruction at some point in our future and our political stupidity (we already have . . . remember?) But . . . we’ll still survive folks, as a world, and as a human species. We will prevail and move forward into enlightenment as planned. How do I know this? We are communicating!!! That’s why I can say we are going to survive and indeed, thrive. Communication is at the heart of our planet’s survival. The more we know about one another, the less likely we are to blow up our fellowman and all the earth’s inhabitants and resources with us.
Because of massive communication, and my personal abilities to access those communications, I no longer listen to the rhetoric of politicians as they state and subject us to their biased opinions on war against nations, seeding their (already full) pockets of greed with unnecessary monetary gain and political power. Instead, I tune into the news and see for myself what’s happening around the planet, forming my own opinions about the news and people around the globe. I feel the politicians of many nations (including mine) are a thousand technological steps behind the rest of us mere . . . middle class human beings. We are gaining wisdom and no longer falling for the nationalistic and political opinions of those in powerful places. Instead, we form our own consensus and our own ideas and ideals, and . . . we share those ideas and insights with others and . . . we ask questions of one another and get answers! Hey, the cream is forming at the top of the global bubble, and the goodness within the world is rising along with the awareness we are seeking to experience through the art of communicating with one another. I have personally taken in more knowledge and understanding of my fellow humans in the past ten years than I could have hoped for or thought possible in a hundred college classes . . . thanks . . . to the latest technological advances within the communication fields. I’ve been enthralled and thrilled (as I’m sure most of you have) to be instilled with so much insight and knowledge about so many of our various neighboring countries, their cultures, spirituality, languages and human uniqueness in general. Through the opening of the communication fields, I’ve been able to see, feel and observe- the whole global picture-related to the rest of my fellow human beings on earth . . . emerging and evolving right before my eyes . . . into one small planet of a diverse humanity. What a thrill! What a gift!
Imagine where were going from here with the newest in technological advances arriving daily into the mainstream household. Personally, Im really excited to learn all I can about my fellow man and their vast contributions and various understandings of our world. After all . . . arent we really just part of the whole unit called humanity on this planet, and wont we eventually share the various universal spheres of the afterlife as one species from planet earth? If thats true (and I believe it is), guess wed better learn to get along and to covet and protect our “earth sphere” while we still have the chance to, eh?
