BROTHERHOOD OF MANKIND
We are in an information era of confusion and change. News is instantly in front of us. Mostly to gain ratings, the news we are bombarded with carries negative connections. We must look beyond the filter of negativity to the solid bank of positive works. The darkness of change is simply a negative warp in time, presented against a backdrop of positive goodness, which is emerging slowly. But be assured. Goodness, spiritual understanding, and acceptance of our fellowman is coming. So many places in the world are in need of spirit-filled hearts and minds. The United States doesn’t have a foothold on religious understanding. The U.S. has a long way to go before it recognizes we are all one people on this planet, under the watchcare of a merciful and loving God. Five years ago, I wasn’t even aware of many of the far-flung communities in the world. The news has made us aware of one another in ways that are both positive and enlightening. It has made me more aware of the brotherhood of all mankind. The headlines of the world should read, “We all must try hard to recognize the Fatherhood of God, and the Brotherhood of all Mankind.” Then, and only then, will we find lasting peace.
