GAS PRICES? WHERE WILL THEY GO FROM HERE????
I would love to say gas prices will go down, but until the present administration and the fabulous top five oil companies say noooo more . . . prices of oil and other natural resources will continue to escalate. It’s a warning to all of us who’ve taken natural resources for our vehicles, homes, bling-bling, and fuel based merchandise for granted. Nothing, and I mean nothing that’s controlled by people with an agenda, should ever be taken for granted. It’s like playing Russian roulette with a loaded gun. It’s going to fail folks. The Middle Eastern countries do not want us being supplied with cheaper fuels. Considering our immense popularity in their oil rich countries, I can’t really blame them. Cut North America and its allies at the monetary throat, and we’ll slowly bleed to death. Cut down on the production of fuel supplies, and the world at large gets to feel the monetary ripple effect. Take away our livelihoods and recreation, and we’ll be an unhappy bunch of human beings (or so they think!).
The earth’s resources and the ownership of those resources is all about power and wealth. So who needs to take charge? Wellll . . . last time I checked, the President of the United States is normally the one to rein in the wild cards and call their bluff. Not only call their bluff, but also mean it! I don’t see that great event happening, considering the three biggies at the top of the White House heap are all oilmen. So it’s really gonna fall on all of us as individuals to show we’re not afraid of the powerful oil and gas conglomerates and the Middle Eastern countries.
We can take back our power my friends! How? We’re gonna have to call their bluff and cut way down on our individual consumption. We can do it without much trouble! All we have to do is use twenty percent less fuel a week, and really conserve for about six months. It will work! They’ll be forced to stop the upward cost per barrel of oil.
Then we need to elect people who believe in the future of our planet and who’ll pass laws that’ll enact alternative fuel resources, solar energy and utilize nuclear power for energy. It’s time for “US” to take control of our natural resources and the future taxing of those resources. The citizens of the world need to take a stand. The minerals and resources beneath the earth are rightfully ours. They should never have been in the hands of a few people. It’s every human’s right on planet earth to participate in the care of their planet, and conserve and protect its natural resources. The natural resources belong to all of us, and we should have a say in how they’re handled. I don’t know about you, but if I had a vote in the care and protection of our natural resources, I’d darn well foster and value them for the future of our children, grandchildren and offspring. In the meantime, use less energy folks! It’s up to us to take a stand against the gluttony and greed by the so-called chosen-frozen, power thirsty, mega-corporations of this world.

I hope gas prices continue to climb. Climb to $4 or $8 or more per gallon. Only then will we get off our collective butt and do the things necessary to provide alternatives to oil. Necessity seems to still be the mother of invention.
